What this work involves
A panel upgrade replaces your home's main breaker box and service entrance with a larger, code-compliant panel — most often a 200-amp panel. Older Eastern Panhandle homes frequently still run 60-amp or 100-amp service that cannot safely support central air, an EV charger, a hot tub or a finished basement. We pull the permit, coordinate the utility disconnect with Potomac Edison, install the new panel and grounding, label every circuit and stay until the inspection passes.
